Wildflowers are blossoming all over the place right now and the weather has become comfortably cool. Must be Fall! I'm currently scheduling 30-minute mini photo sessions in a great little patch of wildflowers with beautiful sunset light. All sessions will be held between the hours of 4:30-6pm from now until the end of October. Call right away to book a spot. These sessions will fill up quickly! Call 396-1003.

Yay! She's finally here. Emilia was born a beautiful, healthy 8 lb baby. I was so excited to meet Emilia and get to hear about how Erin is enjoying being a new mommy. Everything went smoothly during her first photo shoot. She was so curious about everything and every time I tried to pick her up and move her around she would wake up and look at me......until I got her snuggled up in a basket. It was like she had been waiting 12 days to sleep in a basket and once she was all curled up, she stayed sound asleep. Ha! So cute.

I spent a week this summer in Kentucky visiting my Grandpa. He met my kids for the first time and they LOVED him. He calls my oldest boy Buster Brown and now whenever I say that, Josh smiles ear to ear. Besides the wonderful time spent with family, we got to enjoy the beautiful change in scenery. I wish we were closer. I took 800 photographs while we were visiting! Here are a few of my favorites among the images I'm keeping. :-)

Erin was one of the first clients to be photographed at my in-home natural light studio. We had fun talking about everything she has to look forward to and commiserating on some of the experiences we've shared during pregnancy. One of my favorite things about my job is that I have the opportunity to connect with other women and share the experience of being a parent. As I told Erin, she has many indescribably wonderful days ahead with her new baby girl. Very soon I will be capturing of the two of them. I cannot wait to photograph the tiny, curled legs, soft fuzz, and scrunchy face that make a newborn baby - and coming from Erin I'm certain that this little girl will be nothing less than stunning!
